At Koh Jum Beach Villas, one of the most quietly loved elements of the guest experience has always been our in-villa amenities. Thoughtfully created, gently scented, and designed for everyday comfort, they are now available to take home as part of our Botanical Amenities Collection.

Produced in Thailand using plant-based, organic formulations and ethically sourced Himalayan lemongrass essential oil, our shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are the same products used throughout the villas. Supplied in bulk and decanted into refillable bottles, they form part of our wider commitment to mindful travel and reduced plastic waste. By popular request, the collection is now available in 100ml biodegradable, wheat-based bottles, ideal for travel and everyday use alike.

Fresh, clean, and softly botanical, the aroma is instantly recognizable to guests who have stayed with us. The formulations are gentle yet effective, leaving hair feeling light, soft, and cared for, more like stepping out of a small island spa than using a conventional hotel product. It is a personal favorite too, and one we have yet to find an equal to among natural products.

Available from our retail store at THB 250 per bottle, the Botanical Amenities Collection is intended as both a practical essential and a subtle souvenir. A small reminder of open windows, salt air mornings, and the slower rhythm of island life. Simple, considered, and designed to stay with you, wherever you travel next.

There is a moment on Koh Jum when the afternoon light softens, the cicadas begin their quiet chorus, and the tide draws itself into a slow exhale. It’s during this golden hour that guests at Koh Jum Beach Villas start to wander, some barefoot from the pool, others returning from the sea, following the warm scent of toasted spices and grilled pita drifting along the shore. 

At the edge of the palms, tucked beside a stretch of sand that feels wonderfully unhurried, sits Beach Bites: our seasonal, open-air food truck serving easy coastal dishes designed for slow days and long sunsets. 

A Fresh Take on Beachside Dining 

Beach Bites was created to celebrate the relaxed rhythm of island life. Rather than formal dining or white tablecloths, the experience here is spirited, simple, and refreshingly joyful. Think bamboo tables, low-slung beanbags, and the sound of waves brushing the shoreline just meters away. 

The menu reflects this playful mood: 

– flavorful kebab wraps grilled to order 

– warm pita pockets filled with island favorites 

– comforting dim sum for light snacking 

– crunchy nachos for sharing over drinks 

– and indulgent hot dogs  

It’s casual food elevated by the atmosphere, eaten with sandy feet, sun-warm skin, and a view of the Andaman Sea stretching into bronze. 

Sips for Sunset Lovers 

As the sky begins its evening transformation, our bar team shakes up refreshing sunset mojitos, pours chilled Thai artisan beers, and tropical sodas that pair effortlessly with the dishes. There is no rush here; guests settle into beanbags or gather at rustic tables as the trees overhead catch the last ribbons of light.

Beach Bites embodies the spirit of Koh Jum: relaxed, natural, and quietly charming. It’s not about elaborate plating or fine dining pomp. It’s about the feeling of togetherness, the effortless conversations, and the pleasure of eating something delicious with the sea at your feet. 

For families, it becomes a post-swim treat. For couples, an unplanned sunset ritual. For solo wanderers, a place to pause, sip something cold, and enjoy the forgetting of time.
