Our organic garden is more than a place of harvest; it reflects how we live and grow. Grown without chemicals and guided by regenerative principles, it supplies the herbs, greens, and tropical fruits used in our kitchen each day. 

Guests are invited to stroll through the garden, join a complimentary guided tour, and enjoy a refreshing drink made from ingredients picked right from the soil. Tour times vary, please check with Guest Services or look out for the sign on the day. 

Along the way, you’ll discover our bamboo bird hide, a peaceful space nestled among the palms where you can quietly observe the island’s birdlife. For those interested in a deeper connection, our farm-to-table cooking class includes harvesting your own ingredients before preparing authentic Thai dishes with guidance from our chefs. 

Driftseed Restaurant

Situated just steps from the sea, Driftseed Restaurant is the culinary heart of our resort. Here, dining is an experience woven from the island’s heritage and global inspiration. Wake up to a breakfast of tropical fruit, warm pancakes, and locally sourced eggs. At sunset, enjoy grilled Thai wagyu, just-caught snapper, or curries fragrant with kaffir lime and lemongrass.

The space is open, airy, and relaxed, encouraging long, lingering meals that unfold with the rhythm of the waves. While our core menu remains consistent, the daily catch and seasonal produce guide what’s fresh on the plate, our chefs to highlight ingredients at their best.

Driftseed Bar

At Driftseed Bar, the island’s laid-back rhythm meets conscious mixology. In partnership with ecoSPIRITS, we serve premium spirits through a closed-loop system that reduces single-use glass and lowers our carbon footprint. It’s our way of bringing sustainable thinking into every pour.

Signature cocktails include the passion fruit Mojito, Lychee Martini, and the locally inspired Koh Jum Sunset, infused with crushed chili, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves. Whether you’re sipping a Mango Colada by day or a Negroni at golden hour, each drink is crafted with care using tropical ingredients and local flair.

Our curated wine room focuses on small-production, organic and biodynamic labels, chosen to pair beautifully with our seasonal menus. From pre-dinner aperitifs to a final nightcap, Driftseed Bar is your space to unwind, connect, and savor the moment.

Culinary Sustainability

At Koh Jum Beach Villas, sustainability isn’t an afterthought, it’s built into every dish we serve. As a Travelife Gold certified property, we monitor and responsibly dispose of waste, compost organic matter for our garden, practice sustainable procurement, and source water from our own plant. Solar power supports our operations, and our organic garden is nourished with compost made on site.

We work closely with local fishermen who use responsible, small-scale methods to bring us the freshest seafood each day. Our chefs highlight line-caught fish, seasonal produce, and pasture-raised meats from trusted sources.

We proudly partner with:
