No. Koh Jum Beach Villas is not an adults-only resort and warmly welcomes families with children.
While certain one-bedroom villa categories are designated exclusively for two adults, the resort also offers family-friendly accommodation options, including selected one-bedroom family villas and spacious two- to five-bedroom villas designed for families and groups. Kindly note that we do not offer kids club facilities at the resort.
All rates at Koh Jum Beach Villas include daily breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi, use of bicycles, kayaks and paddleboards (subject to availability), and access to the resort’s facilities, including the main swimming pool, fitness room, and guest library.

Koh Jum Beach Villas traces its origins to the aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. In 2005, the owners first came to Koh Jum as part of tsunami relief efforts and developed strong friendships with members of the local community during the island’s recovery. Inspired by the island’s natural beauty, authentic way of life, and welcoming community, they returned in 2006 and purchased the land that would become Koh Jum Beach Villas.
Our vision was to create a low-density luxury villa resort that blended harmoniously with the surrounding environment while contributing positively to the local community. Koh Jum is a tropical island with a diverse natural ecosystem, and guests may occasionally encounter local wildlife during their stay. As with many destinations in Thailand, some species found on the island and in the surrounding waters can be venomous, including certain snakes, marine creatures, insects, and spiders.
However, encounters are rare, and these animals generally avoid human contact. The island is also home to a variety of harmless wildlife, including geckos, birds, butterflies, and other creatures that contribute to Koh Jum’s rich biodiversity.
We recommend being aware of your surroundings and taking sensible precautions when exploring natural areas, such as wearing appropriate footwear, using insect repellent, and avoiding contact with unfamiliar wildlife. Reef or water shoes are also recommended when exploring the beach, tidal areas, and the sea.

One of the best nearby snorkelling spots is located just beyond Baan Raj at the northern end of the resort.

Yes. Koh Jum Beach Villas is set along a beautiful and secluded 700-metre stretch of beachfront on Koh Jum’s west coast. Guests enjoy direct access to the beach, spectacular sunsets over the Andaman Sea, and stunning views towards the Phi Phi National Marine Park.
As Koh Jum experiences tidal changes throughout the day, the appearance and swimming conditions of the beach may vary with the tides and seasons. An long stretch of an entire 5km beach is accessible from Koh Jum Beach Villas.

Koh Jum Beach Villas offers a relaxed atmosphere of refined barefoot luxury, and there is no formal dress code. Lightweight, comfortable resort wear is appropriate throughout the property.

Yes, there are restaurants on Koh Jum, although the dining scene is small and relaxed compared to more developed tourist destinations. Most restaurants and bars on the island will be in full operation between November – April. Most restaurants are locally run and are found along the beaches or near village areas, offering a mix of Thai cuisine and simple international dishes.
Koh Jum’s dining experience is generally quiet and unhurried, reflecting the island’s peaceful character rather than a busy or commercial restaurant scene.
Koh Jum has several small grocery shops and local markets, although there are no large supermarkets on the island. The island’s three villages offer an authentic glimpse into local life, with Baan Koh Jum being the largest. Yes, in most cases we can arrange late-afternoon and evening transfers from Krabi Airport to Koh Jum.
From November to April, transfers can be arranged for arrivals on Koh Jum up to 10:00 PM. From May to October, transfers are available for arrivals on Koh Jum up to 7:00 PM only.
Please note that an additional late-arrival surcharge of THB 2,000++ (plus 10% service charge and 7% tax) per boat, per way applies for transfers arriving at Krabi Airport from 4:30 PM onwards. On check out day, the same surcharge applies for early departures before 6:00 AM and late departures from the resort from 6:00 PM onwards.

Yes. We can arrange private transfers from Phuket Airport to Koh Jum Beach Villas and recommend flights arriving before 1:30 PM to ensure a comfortable same-day transfer to the island.
For late evening arrivals at Phuket Airport, we generally do not co-ordinate same-day transfers. Due to the travel time required to reach Laem Kruat Pier, we recommend spending the night in Phuket and continuing to Koh Jum the following day to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
Yes. Koh Jum can be reached by public ferry and join speedboat services from several major destinations in the Andaman Sea, including Phuket, Krabi, Railay Beach, Koh Yao Noi, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Trang, and other nearby islands.
Please note that public ferry and speedboat services to and from Koh Jum generally operate during the high season only and are typically unavailable during the low season (May–October). We recommend checking the ferry operators’ websites directly for the latest routes, schedules, seasonal services, and ticket availability.
